Invitation Design: After the New York Wine and Culinary Center rebranded themselves as New York Kitchen, they wanted to share their new brand with the Rochester community. Their first major event after the rebrand was their annual Garden Party; a charity gala to raise money for their children’s outreach programs. I was tasked with applying their new color palette, logo, and aesthetic to the invitation, brochure, replay card, and flyer for the event. By using a limited color palette and black etchings of flowers rather then a more traditional colorful imagery, I was able to achieve an edgier, sophisticated, modern look that the client wanted. The client was thrilled and the event was a great success.
